Every message is read by someone who works on the validator. We answer questions about results, odd credentials, and integration details, and we are glad to hear about bugs.
What helps us most
- The code that came back, such as
missing_baked_payload, and which check failed. - Whether you uploaded a file or pasted a URL, and the file type.
- Which platform issued the badge, if you know.
- What you expected to happen instead.
If the credential is confidential, describe the problem rather than attaching it. Codes and check names are usually enough to reproduce an issue. Before writing, the result code list and the FAQ cover most of what comes up.
